The Award-Winning Graphic Novel
“Readers Will Be Blown Away!”
“One of the most acclaimed horror titles… and for good reason. This book will knock you off your feet.”
Crawl to Me is a psychological horror graphic novel written and illustrated by Alan Robert. The original 4-issue comic series was published by IDW between July and October 2011 and was later released as a trade paperback in January 2012. After multiple printings sold out, it was released again in several deluxe hardcover editions.
Set during a frigid winter in a remote countryside home, the story follows Ryan Shelby, his wife Jessica, and their baby Grace as they begin a new life in their dream house. They discover half‑eaten animal remains in the basement crawl space, hear haunting voices beneath the floorboards, and their beloved dog Max disappears. As the bizarre occurrences escalate, the couple’s relationship, sanity, and sense of reality are pushed to the brink. Ryan must abandon old beliefs and confront a terrifying entity that lurks deep within their walls—blurring the line between psychological breakdown and supernatural terror.
The narrative thrives on a sense of mounting dread and ambiguity. Is it a haunting, or is Ryan losing his mind? The art intensifies this tension, using mixed media and gritty textures to create a disorienting, mind‑twisting reading experience.
